Why blog

Why do we blog? Why is there a need for expressions of one's thoughts and feelings?
Aren't these supposed to be buried deep down inside the recesses of the mind ? long forgotten in the winds of time and the humdrum of the day to day life
I guess not. We have a rational mind which has an opinion on everything,which screams to be heard...
And it is just that need which makes us write and write more on anything under the sun.
